CFD Simulation Engineer (m/f)
For our engineering team, we are looking for a passionate simulation engineer with strong focus on computational fluid dynamics. As CFD Simulation Engineer your focus is to support the simulation team in developing and releasing new CFD features for the SimScale platform.
Your main tasks will be setting up and running CFD simulations, performing tests and validations for new features, and providing assistance with identifying and fixing simulation problems.
What we expect from you (must-haves)
- Strong background in fluid mechanics and technical computing
- Practical simulation experience in OpenFOAM
- Experience in mesh generation and quality assessment
- Creativity and self-drivenness in solving engineering problems
- Very good English skills
What we expect from you (nice-to-haves)
- A completed or ongoing course of studies in Engineering, Applied mathematics or Physics or a comparable degree with corresponding professional experience
- First experience in using prominent CFD software
- Programming knowledge of Python, C++, Git
- Ability to work with Linux
- Interest in working in new simulation areas
