In De Meern, we develop, produce and sell catalysts. The catalysts we produce are used in a number of applications. Around 80% of all products we encounter in our daily life were made with the aid of a catalyst. Our products are frequently used in industries like the food industry or the petrochemical industry.
What you can expect
As Raw Material Planner, you will be part of the De Meern Supply Chain Team, where you will closely collaborate with Production Planning, Procurement and Customer Services. You will be responsible for the continuous and timely provision of all raw materials necessary to fulfill the site's production plan.
- You are responsible for maintaining the procurement plan and for the detailed short-term horizon scheduling; which means you will pro-actively take actions to avoid delays and shortages and monitor and manage alerts.
- Besides, you will ensure supply accuracy by creating, modifying or deleting purchase requisitions and purchase orders under consideration of various constraints such as required availability vs. target inventories.
- You will review and drive improvements within the supplier reliability and supply accuracy, including Non-Conformance Management.
- You will maintain all procurement relevant material master data in SAP; validating, adjusting and planning all relevant master data parameters is your responsibility.
- You will provide support to the Supply Review meeting for S& and Operational Planning Reviews.
What we expect
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
- You have obtained at least two years' relevant work experience in a supply chain related job.
- You can carry out MRP and procurement processes and understand the concepts and principles.
- Recognizing, reciting and explaining inventory management concepts is required.
- Your oral and written communication skills in Dutch and English are excellent.
- Final, you have a strong knowledge of Excel, SAP R/3 and it's Material Management and Planning tools.
