B3 - Bildung Beyond Boundaries' promotes a culture of evidence-based teaching and learning innovations at Jacobs University Bremen and beyond. Within this format, Jacobs Foundation Zurich is funding the 'Innovative Ideas in Higher Education Challenge' to foster collaboration between cross-disciplinary researchers in seeding innovation or even disruptions in higher education, in particular in academic learning. Currently, nine projects are funded in various areas and settings. In support of these projects, we invite interested candidates to apply for the next possible date as a Bildung Beyond Boundaries Project Coordinator (m/f/d) (Part-time, 19.5 hours per week, limited for 2 years) Job ID 20-41 The Bildung Beyond Boundaries Project Coordinator supports the project chairs, interconnects all projects, serves as a multiplier into Jacobs University's teaching body, supports the application of best practices, and disseminates the project results at Jacobs University and beyond. Your tasks: Connecting, coordinating, and monitoring all B3 projects at Jacobs University Providing administrative support for all B3 project chairs Evaluating and selectingbestpractices Creating and maintaining a best practice data base Disseminating lessons learned and serving as a multiplier Identifying feasible solutions and supporting their implementation in teaching Organizingworkshops and publicevents Preparingthefinalproject report Disseminating the project results inside and outside Jacobs University Your qualifications: A Master's degree or equivalent (a doctorate is an advantage). High level of comfort with technology as well as willingness to learn and use new technologies Knowledge in higher education didactics (especially e-learning) Familiar with e-learning tools (e.g. Moodle, Ilias and MS Teams) Very good skills in public speaking and communicating with a diverse audience Experience in project management and managing third-party funded projects in higher education Excellent written and spoken English and German Good knowledge of MS Office programs Well-organized, attention to detail, and flexible Highly motivated, creative and communicative with a keen interest in working in an international and dynamic environment Your application: Please send your application stating your availability and your salary expectations as a pdf document by using attached form.
