Bei Fragen zur Prozessoptimierung und der Weiterentwicklung der Reaktorhardware sind Sie der direkte Ansprechpartner für die Abteilungen Simulation und Design. Daneben arbeiten Sie eng mit Ihren Kolleginnen und Kollegen aus dem Bereich Sales & Marketing zusammen und führen Anlagendemonstrationen zur Kundenakquise durch. Zu Ihren Aufgaben gehört außerdem die Mitwirkung bei Kooperationsprojekten mit internen und externen Partnern. Ihre Mission: Als Prozessingenieur im AIXTRON-Applikationslabor gestalten Sie aktiv und selbstständig die Entwicklung sowie Optimierung unserer Depositions-Reaktoren und Prozesse zur Abscheidung von Verbindungshalbleitern mit. Dank Ihrer selbstständigen und koordinierten Arbeitsweise planen und bearbeiten Sie, auch abteilungsübergreifend, Projekte zur Weiterentwicklung unserer Depositionsprozesse und treiben die Evaluierung von Hardware-Prototypen voran. Faszination für Technik und das Streben nach Perfektion sind Ihre Antriebsfedern für die Konzeption und Koordination teils komplexer Testreihen im Rahmen von Entwicklungs-projekten. Aus Daten werden Informationen: Mit Ihrem strukturierten und wissenschaftlich-analytischen Vorgehen erkennen Sie komplexe Zusammenhänge und ziehen Schlussfolgerungen aus den Versuchsreihen. Als Multiplikator unseres Know-hows analysieren und dokumentieren Sie die gewonnenen Erkenntnisse sowie Erfahrungen sorgfältig und geben diese an Ihre Mitarbeiter und Kollegen weiter. Den Kunden im Blick: Sie passen die an den Laboranlagen entwickelten Prozesse an Kundenwünsche an und übertragen diese auf Kundenanlagen - dies ist Ihr wichtiger Beitrag für schnellen und nachhaltigen Kundenerfolg. Ihr Hintergrund: Sie haben ein naturwissenschaftliches oder technisches Studium, z. B. der Physik, Elektrotechnik oder Materialwissenschaften abgeschlossen oder einen vergleichbaren Abschluss erlangt. Während Ihres Studiums haben Sie fundierte Kenntnisse im Bereich der Halbleitertechnologie oder Festkörperphysik erworben, auf die Sie jederzeit routiniert zurückgreifen können. Daneben besitzen Sie Prozesserfahrung bei der Abscheidung von Verbindungshalbleitern, idealerweise mittels MOCVD an einer kommerziellen Epitaxieanlage. Der Umgang mit den unterschiedlichen Charakterisierungsmethoden und Fragestellungen der Festkörperphysik gehört zu Ihrem Tagesgeschäft. Dazu konnten Sie bereits Erfahrung im Umgang mit Messgeräten sammeln. Sie sind flexibel und offen für internationale Reisetätigkeiten im Rahmen von 5-10%. You are the direct contact person for the Simulation and Design departments if they have questions relating to process optimisation and the further development of the reactor hardware. In addition, you work closely together with your colleagues from the Sales & Marketing area and perform system demonstrations in an effort to acquire customers. Your tasks also include involvement in cooperation projects with internal and external partners.   Your mission: As a process engineer in the AIXTRON applications laboratory, you will be actively involved in shaping the development and optimisation of our deposition reactors and processes for the deposition of compound semiconductors. As an independent and coordinated worker, you will plan and process projects for further developing our deposition processes and drive forward the evaluation of hardware prototypes, including across departments. Your fascination with technology and the pursuit of perfection fuel your drive to design and coordinate sometimes complex test series in the context of development projects. Turning data into information: Thanks to your structured, scientific and analytical approach, you can identify complex connections and draw conclusions from the test series. As a multiplier of our expertise, you will carefully analyse and document the insights and experience gained and pass them on to your employees and colleagues. Keeping the customer in mind: You will adapt the processes developed on the laboratory systems to the customers' requests and transfer them to customer systems. Your background: You have a scientific or technical degree, e.g. in physics, electrical engineering or materials science or have a comparable qualification. In the course of your studies, you acquired a sound knowledge in the field of semiconductor technology or solid-state physics which you can easily draw upon at any time. You also have experience with the process involved in the deposition of compound semiconductors, ideally using MOCVD on a commercial epitaxy system. Handling the various characterisation methods and issues of solid-state physics is part of your day-to-day business. You have also already gained experience with handling measurement devices. You are flexible and open to international travel between 5 and 10% of the time.
