Working Student - Demand Generation (m/f/d)

What’s the role about?

We're looking for a super motivated working student to join our team and help us level up our (email) marketing game! Our Freemium product is already helping tons of companies in Europe find the best talent out there, and we're ready to take things to the next level with your help. Our website is sleek and informative, and we're looking for someone with the drive and ambition to help us grow even more.

As a working student in marketing, you'll be right in the thick of things, learning the ins and outs of demand generation and helping us make a real impact. So if you're ready to take your skills to the next level and join an exciting team, we want to hear from you!

Your future team

You’ll become part of the marketing team (six people, two dogs, and counting), responsible for attracting new business via lead generation efforts across multiple channels and tactics. You’ll work directly with our email marketing manager, but also closely with the rest of the marketing team, namely content marketers, search engine marketing, and product marketing. Your mission will be to continue building JOIN’s outreach and email marketing acquisition engine for lead generation.

What you’ll be doing?

  • Support and improve the demand generation via email marketing for JOIN
  • Build new email campaigns with our campaign builder
  • Read and understand the data to identify opportunities to improve and optimize emails
  • Maintain our in-house contact database solution
  • Execute and send out email marketing campaigns
  • Monitor data collection processes and escalate to technical teams if necessary
  • Manage replies of our demand generation channel
  • Optimize the reply process to create a great user experience and deliver value for our customers
  • Collaborate with other marketing channel owners to generate leads

What do you need to be successful?

  • You combine strong analytical and problem-solving skills, basic technical understanding, and a creative and experimental mindset
  • You like to learn, work hands-on, take ownership, and have an impact
  • You are fluent in written and spoken German and English and love to work in multicultural organizations
  • We’d especially like to talk if you’ve:
  • Worked in a startup or a Tech company before
  • Heard the term ‘lead generation’ before or have experience working in commercial teams (i.e. Sales or Marketing)
