About the position
We are looking for a dynamic and proactive (Junior) Trader (m/f/x) to join our Biofuels Team. In this role you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive market analysis and identifying trends and opportunities in the biofuels feedstock market. Your expertise in sourcing and procurement will be crucial evaluating potential suppliers, as well as negotiating contracts to secure the best prices and quality.
Your tasks
  • Conducting thorough market research to identify trends and opportunities in the biofuels feedstock market
  • Identifying and evaluating potential suppliers of biofuels feedstock, and negotiating contracts and terms to secure the best prices and quality
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with clients and negotiating sales contracts to ensure compliance with both company and industry standards
  • Monitoring market risks and developing strategies to mitigate them
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant international and regional regulations for all trading activities, and staying informed about changes in biofuels regulations and their impact on trading
  • Working closely with logistics to ensure the timely delivery of feedstock, and overseeing the entire supply chain process from procurement to delivery to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness
  • Preparing accurate and timely reports on trading activities, along with maintaining comprehensive records of all transactions and contracts
  • Collaborating with other departments, such as finance and operations to optimize trading processes
Your profile
  • University degree in economics, finance, logistics or a comparable field
  • B2B sales experience
  • Fluent in English and German, Ukrainian will be an advantage
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
  • Experience in international trade and logistics
  • Previous experience in trading vegetable oils is highly preferred
