Why join our team? With the growth of Smart TVs, Samsung has developed a new platform to bring TV and digital together, called Samsung TV Plus. For the first time, advertisers can use real-time Samsung TV viewing behaviour to reach consumers in new and innovative ways via our own streaming/FAST service (Free ad supported streaming television).

Samsung TV Plus (part of ESBO – European Service Business Organisation) is responsible for creating new FAST channels and bringing 3rd party FAST channels onto the TV Plus service in 16 European territories. This is a new opportunity within the ever-growing CTV media industry on top of the global footprint of European Samsung Smart TVs. The EU Business Development Team (BD) is working to create value for partners, advertisers and agencies through its unique reach as the global number one smart TV manufacturer.

 

We are looking for a person who likes early stage opportunities and would like to join a rapidly growing team. This person is central to helping to build relationships with our content partners and grow the partner base for the Samsung TV Plus European business across our Samsung TV Plus product, on our TVs, mobiles or other devices.

For our team, we are looking for a

Working Student (m/f/d) Samsung TV Plus

Location: remote, Munich, Düsseldorf or Frankfurt
Start: 1. September 2024

Your key responsibilites:

  • Work with the TV Plus business development leads in 16 different territories and business operations team to ensure, where required, partners are set up correctly
  • Take ownership of the partner data accuracy in Salesforce, which is key in allowing other team members and teams to reference the data, when required, with confidence
  • Manage the tracking and recording of all new contracts from creation through to completion and storage, which will support the team and enable channel release management
  • Provide notifications to the wider team of approaching contract expirations and notification periods allowing any re-negotiation of contracts to be completed in a timely manner
  • Manage the contract template via continuous engagement with the legal team, ensuring that any changes requested by the business are captured and included where appropriate
  • Oversee the channel release schedule, ensuring all requirements for each channel to be released are on track

These skills you should ideally have:

  • Currently enrolled student, ideally in Business or Media studies
  • Ideally some experience in data and project management through employment background or education
  • Fluency in English, additional EU languages beneficial
  • Ability to manage large amounts of data and information in a clear, concise, logical manner
  • Excellent organisational, communication and presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and confidently at all levels of the business and to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Ideally genuine interest in TV content, streaming and technology
