Our research focuses on the method development and early adoption of MALDI-MS imaging. The project deals with the use and development of a high-resolution MALDI-MSI setup that directly couples MS and fluorescence microscopy for the purpose of single cell analysis. The successful applicant will optimize hardware and software methods for MSI and microscopy and will work on two clinically relevant applications investigating cellular heterogeneity in cells of the immune system.
Your profile:
- M.Sc. degree or comparable in analytical chemistry, molecular biology, biophysics or similar
- trong background in mass spectrometry imaging and/or fluorescence microscopy
- xperience in data analysis and bioinformatics (preferably Python)
- Basic knowledge in eukaryotic cell culture is of advantage
- Commitment to interdisciplinary research and development
- Willingness to work independently and in a team
