Core Network Dynamics stands for uncompromising flexibility and cutting edge technologies for the backbones of future telecommunication networks. In 2013 Core Network Dynamics was founded as a spin-off company from Fraunhofer FOKUS. Its main target is on the development and hardening of the OpenEPC project- prototype implementation of a mobile core network.
This project started many years ago as a pure R&D initiative inside Fraunhofer FOKUS. After a very successful track of being world-firsts to prototype the latest Always Best Connected concepts, today we are moving the implementation from a pure research one to a carrier-grade state. Covering all the mobile technologies (from 2G to LTE and WiFi) and comprehensively implementing all the functional elements of a mobile core network, it is guaranteed that our team members obtain an unique and broad insight into the software design and implementation of current and future networks.
